September is the Columbia River’s time to shine. Our Autumn Eagle Safari encompasses all the wonder of our classic river safari, with the added magic of autumn’s burning colours. During this time of year the emerald water of the Columbia River clears, creating ideal fishing conditions for eagles and other birds of prey. As a result, the canyon walls, gravel bars and vibrant treetops of the Columbia are scattered with impressive raptors.
Your Autumn Eagle Safari begins at the Columbia River Discovery Centre, just west of Golden, BC. Meet your guide and grab a life jacket, because after a short walk down to the river, your adventure begins.Reservations recommended.
