Steve Andruski’s professional guiding career began when he moved from his birthplace in northern Ontario to Golden, British Columbia to become a whitewater river guide. In Golden he learned and honed his skills with several rafting companies on the Kicking Horse River. His 11 years of river guiding experience has taken him on several self-supported multi-day trips throughout Alberta and British Columbia.

In the winter he turns his talents to backcountry snowmobile guiding and other winter activities. A highlight of his winter endeavors was between 1998-2001 when he guided dogsledding expeditions in the Lake Louise and Golden areas.

Like most of our staff, Steve shares his passion for the natural environment and his home in the Columbia valley.
