Boat Driver

James is the newest driver on the scene here with Columbia River Safaris. James spent the last two years driving 48 passenger jetboats through the mighty rapids of the Niagara River found below Niagara Falls. At the age of 15 James began whitewater kayaking on the Ottawa River, since then he has been travelling the world searching for the ultimate waves to surf and rapids to run. Kayaking has taken James to throughout Canada, the United States, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Costa Rica and New Zealand. He has been guiding and instructing kayakers for the last 12 years. Although James has spent the last two winters paddling in the southern hemisphere he is ecstatic to be back in Golden where he has spent two winters skiing and snowboarding in the surrounding area mountains.
